No matter the avenues I travel I always am brought back to Neville. Perhaps because he draws the most truthful (to me) definition of God.

This is wonderful, Mitch. And so thoroughly fleshed out. I especially applaud the correlation drawn between Neville’s performance history and the ease in which he declared occupying states or β€œthe wish fulfilled” β€” a thought I’d drawn a long time ago though rarely seems to be discussed amongst his fans and followers.

As a born and bread Bay Arean β€” the Zito bits are wildly entertaining and wonderful personal anecdotes. This was a joy to read.

I love when you write about Neville. His work has changed my life, and your work on the man and the life behind the work has greatly enhanced my experience of Neville and has also enhanced my life.

I used to be a fundamental leaning Christian until I discovered new thought for myself, and Neville just took it to a level beyond anything I have ever experienced to the point where I cannot return to my old beliefs and ways of thinking. He is so simple yet so profound. He speaks to me as the β€œoracles of God”, or my wonderful imagination.

Thanks Mitch! Always a pleasure to read your work!!

Everything you say and write about Neville lands fresh and inspires anew.

According to Elizabeth Haich's classic 'Initiation' (highly recommended), summoning the feeling state was a fundamental component of ancient Egyptian temple instruction. I used to justify to myself the 'impracticality' of actor training by affirming (and practicing as best I could, which sometimes seemed easier as a lass) how basic the practice is to personal evolution.

Thank you for this wonderful story. Neville is thriving…..his books, audio lectures and written lectures are free and available on the internet. And we’re grateful that you write about Neville and encourage people to learn his wisdom….and the wisdom of Joseph Murphy...

Personally speaking….I especially appreciate Neville’s lectures from the mid and late 1960’s. I like how he often discussed his friends and acquaintances….including the

TV scriptwriter who increased his weekly salary, and the

Irish-American restaurant owner in Ojai who began his desired career as a speaker, telling humorous stories!

I enjoy Neville’s anecdotes about his friend Mort….and the guy who was hired as the purchasing agent for Culver City, even though he didn’t have the necessary college degree.

Neville’s friends and acquaintances used his wisdom to improve their lives and careers.

In one lecture, Neville mentioned an actress whose goal was to appear in an Elvis Presley film…..her desire came true because he said β€œshe wouldn’t take no for an answer and simply imagined it.”

And Neville was completely ethical….he refused to become an ordained minister or take extra money to reveal supposed β€œtop secret” wisdom! He said he happily shared everything he knew with everyone…. And his spiritual friendship with William Blake….in a place where there’s no space or time (as Leon Russell sang)…..is incredible!

Sounds like an interesting fellow...but attraction and attention are only part of the equation, Nietzsche sums it up well...

"But fate is a necessity; unless we believe that world history is a dream-error, the unspeakable sorrows of mankind fantasies, and that we ourselves are but the toys of our fantasies. Fate is the boundless force of opposition against free will."

Are we but the toys of our fantasies? I think not.
