I'm currently reading your book, Practical Magick, and have literally just finished the chapter which talks about dress and comportment. I do like to create a look.
At first glance I find repeation in your collective works. The small things like how you dress is something you've said quite frequently in your books. You're style of writing is always a joy Mitch and perhaps unflinching perseverance is what is need to drive the point home, on some of these key points.
The dual self is a staple woven into the occult a very impressive run down of principle ideas and minds on the subject.
These last two posts fit together well. Identifying the "single wish" is likely to lead to some analysis of "what is in me that's getting in the way of achieving of the wish?" This is where we get to spot the many, many ways we may sell ourselves short and instead then see how we can opt to live through the plus-self in that moment.
Colin Wilson refers to Dostoevskyβs character Kirilov who, facing execution, realizes only at the moment before his death that "Everything's good" and that he always had the power to realise the infinite possibilities of existence.
I always somehow related this story to the Plus-Self: So much more is possible, we just need to rise up to more wakefulness to enact the possible.
