I am writing to you from a place of exceptional self-disclosure. Not total disclosure—because I think none of us can, or necessarily should, do that. But exceptional. I do so not to be morbidly revealing, in which I take no pleasure. My aim is to state with urgency and possibility something that may help those of us who seek self-development through esoteric, mythical, and spiritual paths.
